I had one for about a year before I got my car license. When it was wet it was miserable, but the rest of the time? Absolutely loved it.
There's a certain freedom that comes with it that a car doesn't quite hit. Maybe when I'm older I'll get one for little run around a on the weekend.

@danielholt@mstdn.games I have a car, which its important because my commute sucks, but I also live in a town, and on weekends I am sometimes struck by the absurdity of having to take this whole-ass automobile with only myself in it to the store for a few groceries. There’s a lot I do outside of my actual commute that could totally be a moped ride.
