Sure, LLMs are useful for quickly finding things, but they get _so much_ wrong, and don't help you build skills.
I usually check the docs after getting the recommendations from the LLM (or the code), and make sure things make sense and are done well.
Well-documented projects make it easy. Badly documented projects force me to either dig into the source-code, or semi-blindly rely on what the LLM produced.
