I thought about that a lot today, and proceeded to write a lot on BlueSky about it. It was a lot of rambling, so I am not gonna repost it all here, but the tl;dr is "Support interactive assignments so educators can help students engage in deeper learning. Let students take electives and support them in branching out to try new things. And pay teachers a living wage! "
