Riding a fixie in Sheffield is indeed a feat. Kudos to them.
My bikes have 40/50 and 30/51 as lowest gears 😂

@tschenkel@mathstodon.xyz I used to ride a BMX as my commute from top of Crookes to City Centre. That had a free wheel though. Commute in I used to try a no-pedal challenge and just roll in to work, but I needed traffic lights to be on my side so I don't think I ever did it. Going home was out of saddle all the way. That was when my age started with a "2" though. Now it starts with "4" (and nearer 5 than 3) so I can't image doing that ever again.
