It's a dry ingredients mixer! You get all your flour, salt, and sugar in there, seal it up nice and tight, and let it toss about in the water for a while, and bam! Your drys have been all mixed together in the wet, without actually being wet. After that, you go get the container, and mix your wets with your drys.
