@Nawer_Rapter@mastodon.social I think you've got the wrong idea :shiba_confused: I'm not saying "words and their literal meaning are the only thing in human communication", I'm saying words are important and a responsibility upon those who use them :bear_shrug:

@OctaviaConAmore@cutie.city Maybe yes, yeah. I just think that he "weight of the words" has been thrown around a lot, sometimes, in a way that doesn't correspond with the realities I've seen sadly. Usually overblown. Might also have to do with the hellish language landscape that the RAE (Real Academia Española de la lengua), a dubious at best organization of spanish language, has created through many years of... being softly evil or hard evil people or just narcissistic and stupid.
