@whitequark@social.treehouse.systems @regehr@mastodon.social @penguin42@mastodon.org.uk Ah, that's VFP. I forgot that existed. It's the pre-NEON FP extension for ARMv7, with a bunch of weird quirks. On application cores VFP::NEON is a bit like MMX::SSE, in that the latter fixed the dumb mistakes of the former. But I guess on embedded cores it doesn't matter
