@whitequark@social.treehouse.systems @penguin42@mastodon.org.uk I don't actually do RE but... a MB of assembly is almost certainly well over 90% open source software, or at least libraries from somewhere. do we have ways to searching for where a machine function came from?

@regehr@mastodon.social @penguin42@mastodon.org.uk i did actually search for traces of OSS inside and i found that the bootloader is some completely random thing pulled off some dude's github. not even like a popular one the rest of the code i'm fairly positive was written somewhere in the RU defense chain
