@whitequark@social.treehouse.systems @penguin42@mastodon.org.uk I don't know enough to have good questions, but yeah the contents of the FPGA bitstream would be high on my wishlist. how did you get this? does the FPGA dump its bitstream is you tickle it properly? I'd have guessed that this would not be a feature that very many customers want

@regehr@mastodon.social @penguin42@mastodon.org.uk the FPGA does not have internal non-volatile memory. well, some of them do (Actel and MachXO families for example) but the really big Xilinx devices they use for DSP (this one is an xc7k325t) do not the bitstream lives in the flash on the board FPGA flash ISSI IS25LP128FPGA JTAG connectorFPGA UART (RS-232)FPGA XC7K325T-?FFG676CMCU IMXRT1050CECMCU JTAGMCU flash ISSI IS25LP064RF frontend AD9361 all commercial grade where it can be reasonably determined. FPGA of unknown origin, could be Chinese manufactured under license, could be Aliexpress devices
