@Urban_Hermit@mstdn.social @LilPecan@mastodon.social that's why MySpace was the shit. I don't remember how their revenue stream worked...if they even had one. I don't remember seeing ads. I think they got some money for song plays on people's profiles. But I was friends with so many cool indie artists.
