@feditips@mstdn.social Thank you. I most definitely need to look at these. Right now I am just wandering aimlessly, it's all so different from Twitter - I even failed at uploading my profile/header pic... I will sort it out though, lol, I've literally only been here two minutes.

@Sam_Walker@mstdn.ca @feditips@mstdn.social when I joined the server was slow because of these kinds of sudden waves of people joining, if it doesn’t work then don’t give up and try again later— things will settle down

@Sam_Walker@mstdn.ca @feditips@mstdn.social that is for this. I’m feeling a little overwhelmed too. Twit’s has failed me so much though, I need an alternative & two people I appreciate & admire have moved to Mastodon so I’m giving this one a try. It could take awhile to catch on. Twit’s took awhile to catch on & was great for a number of years but it didn’t take long for the new guy to pretty much kill it.
