Went to a party with folks I haven’t seen in 15 years, found myself completely ill-equipped to summarize what I’m up to these days. I could summarize last week, but the last decade? I sounded very dull. I kept people talking about themselves instead, which probably made them feel more valued, but my friends did want to know how I’m doing.
