The council is one of the cruellest. Last year, they voted to make rough sleeping and homelessness illegal. This year, they can now seize personal items of homeless people including beddings. We are at a time of global inflation and erratic weather. You could have extended your hands just a little further to people who are already drowning from exclusion, lack of support and stigma. Im so sorry if seeing homeless people ruin your daily view to work, on your way to your taxpayer-funded office job.
