I wonder if some of those basic functions that worked for decades, but suddenly are broken in a particular browser, are a function of security updates that happened in a hurry and the fixes led to unforeseen problems.

@ewen@social.ewenbell.com That could be. I’m just a bit surprised I haven’t heard about this kind of thing happening more widely. Not being able to drag and drop is pretty crazy. And not being able to submit an online form… that’s not an everyday thing, but common enough that it’s weird to not have heard about that in the wild or even from reviews of the browser.
