Stripping rights &amp; choices from the masses enshrines their wealth &amp; sense of divinity, a worthless cult of self to cover up all other failings. Cory really nails it in his essay.

@andthegeekshall@mastodon.social @pluralistic@mamot.fr He is so close, but still not making the connection. He is so close to concluding that capitalism is feudalism. When he’s talking about other aspects of capitalism, he’s referring to what I would call market economies. Many people feel that capitalism and market economy is the same thing, but capitalism is about the unfettered accumulation, concentration and centralisation of capital, whereas markets can exist without that. It’s a choice to allow the accumulation.
