@agwa@follow.agwa.name Mostly I have Opinions™ about FastCGI's protocol, or more specifically about its excessively "clever" encoding schemes. I wrote my own simple SCGI implementation (for both ends), which would have been a lot more work for FastCGI. For bigger load, SCGI's one connection per request thing is a downside, especially if you're forwarding off the local machine. (And even on the local machine, file descriptors go brrr.)
