alright, so i was told about this whole tiktok to rednote migration thing going on, and i looked at it, being fragrantly chinese... and then i did my homework on the "tiktok ban" legislation. rednote is absolutely vulnerable to the same legislation, and the mass migration that's going on has brought attention to it. it's likely to hit the docket next. i'm posting the message to all my social media accounts. if you know anyone in the US who's migrated to RedNote... it's likely that they're just setting themselves up for more heartbreak. while non-US fediverse instances are also technically vulnerable to the exact same legislation, they're disseminated enough to be "small fish" and probably not worth the effort. #tiktok #rednote #rednoteapp #pafaca
