@Bel_tamtu@meemu.org I have several comfort series I like to come back to: - Bobiverse, as I mentioned already - The Expanse is also one of my favorites. I got all the audiobooks, ebooks, and the series. I enjoy the effort that went into keeping it as realistic as possible. - Mistborn was my first fantasy book and I do a series re-read whenever a new book comes out - Andy Weir's books are always worth revisiting. Love the focus on science and great storytelling. - Neal Stephenson's books are long, complicated, and can drag sometimes. But I enjoy the recurring characters and a lot of his books feel more like reading a history book. If I am low emotional energy, they are what I reach for. - I used to be a lot into Zombies. Back then, the Newsflesh series by Mira Grant was a great escape from reality. Combined with not much time and a reluctance to switch in the middle of a book, it'll take some time. Luckily, people in my bubble are very good about spoilers.
