Hiding URLs (including truncating them) is some sort of Languishing Automated Space Crapitalist future of #enshittification. How do you expect us to stay safe from scammers if you gouge out our eyes? Indeed, it's not user friendly to make complete vital info hard to see. Specifically, I'm trying to actually inspect the URL behind a QR code with my phone camera, crucially *before* spreading my browser's legs to it, in sticky trusting cognito mode no less. Long-clicking on the truncated URL does neither jack nor shit.
