@ct_bergstrom@fediscience.org Imagine a hot summer day, a lawn, a dish of soaked pallets for the Greek tortoise. Four teenage crows took a bite from the dish. The turtle sees them and runs through the heat in fifth gear to the nearest one. As if in a game of fleas, they jump positions, again and again until he is close to one of them and jump again. They were clearly having fun. Until the turtle got tired and started eating himself. So nice to see. They haven't touched his food since. 🐢
