@schlojj@openbiblio.social @ct_bergstrom@fediscience.org property taxes are reduced for agricultural use. It’s very common for the ultrawealthy to just buy a token amount of livestock and then call their palatial estates “ranches” or “farms” and get a big tax cut.
At no point are they viable agribusinesses.
