@DrEdBridges@toot.wales It's seams that a great many people haven't learnt enough history or have enough common sense to understand what fascism looks like. Really fucking depressing to be honest. Hopefully PC, Labour and the Greens can do a deal to keep them out of government 🙂🙏

@DrEdBridges@toot.wales in the BBC drama Years and Years I always thought the overwhelming public outcry at what were in the show fairly mild concentration camps was far fetched. I watched it late though so knew things were already past that point. Way past in Trump land.

@DrEdBridges@toot.wales @laprice@beige.party Britain invented concentration camps (Boer War — set up transit camps near Cape Town for prisoners before shipping them off to the four corners of the empire for long term internment). Given the behavior of your ruling class, it’s kinda surprising you haven’t had them for the entire time since.
