i hate that affordable home electronics repair just isn't a thing anymore unless you're already a hobbyist or you Know A Guy. i know exactly how and why it's got like this.

watching the last radio shack near my house pivot to cell phones and shove all the drawers and cabinets to the back of the shop was probably sadder than watching them all close, tbh
