@rr4idic@mastodon.online As a young person, I made myself a space ship out of a cardboard wardrobe box when we moved to the city. Spent many hours in our then-unfinished basement flying my space ship off to exotic destinations. Curious to know what was my inspiration was at the time, I checked the date of our family’s big move: just a few months after The Empire Strikes Back came out.
