@FloatingOnion@cyberplace.social The amount of times I've forgotten to take the shopping list to the shops, or dropped the list at the shops, or dropped into the shops on the way home from work and not had the shopping list. I have a terrible memory, I could remember maybe 2 things out of 10 or 20. I was wandering around listlessly. I now take a photo of the shopping list whenever I add something to it, a few times a week, so I'll have *something* when I forget it.

@FloatingOnion@cyberplace.social Of course this means I have to remember to take a photo. I'll even take a photo of the list just before I take it off the fridge to go to the shops and that has saved me a few times. And occasionally I'll take photos of plans for IKEA and hardware shops too just to make sure I get the right things.
