@nycki96@caneandable.social @mcourcel@allovertheplace.ca @munchkinbear@mastodon.stickbear.me @jackf723@mastodon.social Disease, raids, heatstroke, frostbite, starvation, mental state, all of these things matter in the survival of your colonists, and the DLC adds even more things in to the game which you have to manage, but also many other ways of winning the game which isn't launching into space, even one of the DLC's adds in the ability for you to move your colonists to an orbital station so that you can continue your story if you so wish. Rimworld is a story-teller type of game, meant for you to roleplay, except for you have direct control over the decisions that get made in what happens as a result of your good or poor management.
