For ages my Forester has had a bad steering rack and sometimes would whine especially if turning a sharp corner. Me and my sister were at a campground one morning when she woke up from being too cold, and so as the responsible big brother, I figured I’d move the car near our tent and turn the heater on temporarily while I get the fire started. That power steering screech as that thing turned around was the most embarrassed I’ve ever felt in my life.
