if your website has 23 selectionchange event listeners on the html element, 1st, wtf, 2nd, intentional or not, you have a set of problems to solve

and, of course, it's one of those big book websites that are all about DRM and that downloads are piracy or whatever (and still manages to have the worse attempts of "protection" I've ever seen, and all they do is inconvenience the user)
