A question for a friend about drug use : her vaginoplasty is in 14 days, and she was offered LSD in 3–4 days to help with her anxiety about the surgery, but she was wondering if psychoactive substances that are “non-toxic” to the body should also be strictly avoided before a procedure like this? It’s supposed to leave the body after 2–3 days, but she’s wondering if it could affect the anesthesia or interact with it in any way?
