That tells you something about the size of the Hard Fork and Search Engine audience. Maybe also something about the fact that IndieWeb people are more likely to roll their own, if they can, than join a service run by someone else ; )
Kudos to @Casey@theforkiverse.com and co for running the experiment. Sounds like you're enjoying yourselves, which is great : )

@strypey@mastodon.nzoss.nz @Casey@theforkiverse.com I think it also shows the model of podcasting and Youtube major communities don't need to be as dependent on the big tech platforms as intermediaries to their fans, and instead can "build their own" communities on the open social web, not "rent them" from platforms that can change on a whim, disrupting those relationships with creators most important audiences.
