Anton Carniaux, Microsoft France's legal director, told the French Senate under oath last year that he could not guarantee French citizen data would never reach US authorities. Microsoft had an EU Data Boundary project, contractual localisation guarantees, and years of investment in the problem. Still couldn't guarantee it. S3NS has SecNumCloud qualification and architectural separation from Google's public cloud. That's real. It's also not a legal shield. (2/3)
