@steeph I have intel integrated graphics and it needs compositing otherwise it tears like hell. That's why I'm running compton most of the time (and curse having to restart it every time I add or remove a monitor). I don't care about 10 bit or 444 but I despise seeing block-artifacts in my video. On public trackers 10 bit encodes tended to be of better quality and because of that I preferred 10 bit encodes in the past. They somehow just pack more quality into the same filesize. (Now that I double-checked… 10 bit encodes where better because they use H265 instead of H264) Nowadays 1080p WEB-DL H264 is fine. Its bigger than I'd like but it looks good. I'd like to see more modern codecs but I am to lazy to re-encode. (And I'd have to replace my Pi because it does H264 fine, H265 poorly and everything newer not at all)
