I've seen more and more, for lack of a better word, Windows "distros" pop up recently. Where they're Windows install media that comes pre-altered so they don't have the telemetry and don't try to re-install it later.
And if you're still a Windows user at this point, you absolutely should be running some kind of script to disable that stuff.

@rastilin@aus.social @jon@social.vivaldi.net @EndeavourOS@mastodon.social I think where I'm headed is running it sandboxed in a VM for things that are essential. With that being said I think a "distro" as you describe it might be the way to go instead of trying to shoehorn in an official image.
