also been trying out Zed as a replacement for VSCode and so far its been pretty good. Not super happy about them pitching it as a "collaborative editor between humans and """AI"""", but credit where it's due, all the LLM/Agent features can be completely toggled with a single setting switch, and they actually vanish after that! Not like VSCode is doing any better here sadly...
The UI itself feels super snappy and all the features I need are there yay Obviously not as many extensions as VSCode yet, but quite a lot of stuff (such as Error Lens) is built-in, I haven't really been missing much.

@Arios@meow.social If you like Zed but are not entirely certain about their AI integration, you may wanna check out Gram. It's a fork of Zed without all of that. https://codeberg.org/GramEditor/gram/releases/tag/1.0.0
