@bert_hubert@fosstodon.org Was complaining about similar yesterday - ISO8601 specifies (+/-)00:00 as the offset format but strftime outputs (+/-)0000 using %z. SUPER HELPFUL. (yes, strftime was originally codified before ISO8601 but they’ve since added explicit support for ISO8601 weeks with %G and %V. They could add a spec-correct offset sigil.)
