@chefraven@sfba.social @digichelle@hachyderm.io it’s usually just heavy drinkers who care, they know that they are abusing alcohol and if there are people around them who are sober to witness how messy they get they don’t like that. They want everybody messy so they don’t feel abnormal.
But the full-blown alcoholics usually don’t want to push alcohol on people, if you don’t want it that’s more for them.

What is promising though is that among youth it is more common not to drink than to drink. At least around here.
