I asked Claude to script install version 1.1+ of a program. It's solution was to install and then check the version. I said "specify 1.1+ during install, not after." It made up syntax. I said "check the docs and fix." It skimmed the man page and told me it was impossible. I finally told it the name of the command. Extracting info from a man page is exactly the thing Claude should be good at. But it didn't read the man page at all! It just searched for some strings that weren't there. #lazyBots
