@Amikke@qoto.org
Of course it's a good offer compared to starving in a “starve or work” system.
A source citing itself is not enough. Please cite anything that has verified those numbers. &focusing on xAI is cherry-picking.
Also counter, Google is suing to keep it's water usage secret: https://pivot-to-ai.com/2026/03/06/how-much-water-do-the-data-centres-use-its-a-secret/
Comparing it to meat is cherry-picking, as meat is already high on the water usage list.
https://ourworldindata.org/grapher/water-withdrawals-per-kg-poore
(That still means we should stop both using “AI” and eating meat.)

@Amikke@qoto.org « Now with the “crayon” argument you're making a grave category error. You're trying to compare crayons, a tool that requires skill to use, to defend the Nazibar and Grok, an organisation and it's tool that doesn't require skill to use.. If a crayon manufacturer went and asked 8 USD/m for the ability to the crayon to make CSAM by itself I would ask for that crayon manufacturer to be sued into oblivion. So you're probably a CSAM and nazi apologist so bugger off. @asie@mk.asie.pl
