Tonight in FreeBSD hacking, restored to saved 14.4 image, updated it to latest patchlevel, enabled DHCP on a bridge, now saving it as an image again. It does not help that syncdhcp isn't included in man page documentation (well, at least 'man -k' isn't returning anything), although it is in the FreeBSD handbook. If dhcp is used instead of syncdhcp for a bridge in rc.conf there isn't enough time to initialise things properly and it fails. Joy.
