I barely got through "I have no mouth but I must scream", forced myself to read 1984, and am still 5 years into finishing Fahrenheit 451. That is to say, it's good. It's funny, witty, surreal, and made me cry. The books are the best way to enjoy Hitchhikers imho. (yes I've seen the TV show, I even have the radio play __script__ in my bookshelf, the books are just better)
