@Sheril@mastodon.social Is that strictly necessary, though? The people that come to mind, apart from actual scientists I know personally (who would probably not want to be known in any wider public sense) are those who have taken it upon themselves to become science communicators, often with unpleasant side effects like harassment. I‘m happy for scientists to science away in peace. Lots of scientific achievement is a collective effort anyway.
