@randulo I'm not sure how far you went in diagnosing the issue, but have you considered that it might be a hardware problem? Or if it is a driver compatibility, have you considered swapping internal wifi module for a USB one? While that might not be a perfect solution it might allow you to use the laptop with linux while doing further research.
