@adamgreenfield@social.coop Unfortunately it's about the Default Ideology™ of neoliberallism. The “Smears” are a perfectly rational and documented position, but the perceived societal costs of going to those positions is astronomical. Breaking traditions, leisure, feeling of security, food, etc. and combinations of those. And changing opinions on those is equally hard.
