S and I were looking at Steam games, and one of them that came up for unknown reasons was American Truck Simulator, and she asked, "ok is it an AMERICAN TRUCK simulator or is it an American TRUCK SIMULATOR" and I am so deeply proud of my kid.
(it could also be an American American Truck Simulator, and that would be pretty unambiguous)
We have determined, with a little research: it is a Czech simulator of American trucks.

@alexr@tilde.zone my friend is really into this game and convinced me to buy it when it was deeply on sale for $5, though I’ve only played it once. You can drive through part of Santa Cruz… and you can also drive from here to Truckee but somehow feel like you’ve skipped the entire Central Valley.
