Wife’s MacBook Air M1 display busted by a child in the classroom. Apple want over £400 to replace it.
Plugged into my display via a USB-C multi-port thing that has HDMI, but it’s not showing up.
Dunno if some other kind of adapter would work?

@daycoder@toot.wales Happened to me. Cracked screen. Cheap external USB-C multiport. Had to use external screen but nothing on either at first. Seem to remember multiple restarts and a bit of luck getting the Mac screen to work so I could set the TV as the main display.
