@dlharmon@chaos.social If your product doesn't involve high end flash and ram its pretty fine atm.
The US situation been fuckey since the first round of tariffs back in 2020 or so.
I'd say just go for it of you got an idea.

@timonsku@mastodon.social Needs DDR4 or DDR5. I have sourced some DDR5 chips via Aliexpress, am proceeding with prototyping but it feels like production may not be practical unless things change significantly. I'm running into many non-memory parts being out of stock too.
