@Fedihacker@masto.es Yes, this application is computer vision. The article throws in a mention of a separate but related procedure that used Gen AI.

@EricFielding@mastodon.social I was referring to that. Processing images and creating a path out of them is not generative AI. So if some LLM was involved in that, it was not necessary. Given the recent changes in NASA its use may obey to other reasons.
