@mollysinless the 12'' is less than a year old? The battery itself on their website is listed as 89$, and the laptop starts at 1.199$ for the intel variant. A similar specced laptop elsewhere will cost about the same too, as far as I can tell. At least from a reputable brand. The main board of the new 13 pro is at least 500$ but probably 800$ if you want something better. I'm sure you can do the math on the rest of the components yourself, it is quite easy since they spell it out on the website.
