@thankfulmachine@oldbytes.space UPBGE is a fork of Blender. But they use AI to develop it now. For a few years before that they did nothing at all. In a way you have a double edged sword now in 2026. One side has funding from an AI company, meaning ability to hire developers who will write code, written by humans. Or you could fork it, and have no funding, which means AI generated code. There is no good answer, but in hard times you need to survive. And blender survives.
