Yah, that's why I think intermediate level tutorial (such as they are) should emphasize instances are really communities and not just nodes to teguk content. Practically all the bad experiences I see is because someone's on a huge instance where the local feed is horrifying except for the rajin reply guys and trolls. How to fren2 liddat. I really quite lucky leh, somemore Malaysians and Filipinos are damn friendly anywhere - always can become kaki as long as u find one. 😄

@cendawanita@mefi.social @irfan@calckey.social Honestly the main reason I'm still sticking around Mastodon is because of the SEA community here. It's not big, but there are interesting people and at least we get along.
